I’m Thomas W. Richardson, a USCG licensed captain and owner/operator of Striper Redemption Guide Service LLC. I was born in Aiken SC and spent my summers with my grandfather fishing Santee Lakes as a kid, I joined the Army out of High School and served our country for 9 years. I later surrendered to the call of ministry; I Have pastored 3 churches in SC as well serving now as an Associational Mission Strategist in Summerville SC. In the early 2000s I began to get back involved in Striper fishing in local Striper clubs in SC at Clarks Hill, Lake Hartwell and Lake Murray. I have won several tournaments as well as lead my team to win team of the year several times as well as a bunch of top 10 finishes. I’m very competitive but I love helping others catch fish. I got my guide licenses in 2020so I could begin taking others fishing and teaching them the sport of Striper fishing. I guide on Lake Wateree and the Santee Cooper Lakes as well as in other SC lakes upon request. My Brother and I have recently taken over The Striped Bass Challenge which was a one-time event each year that is Sponsored by Bass Pro as well as many other sponsors to raise aware of conservation of striped bass, to promote family fishing and to give back to the community through local food banks. Since taking over the Striped Bass Challenge we have launched a Trophy Series Trail to go from one tournament a year to multiple tournaments to give back more to the communities where we hold our tournaments.
